Camohas the longest acrylics I’ve ever seen among everyone I’ve interviewed throughout my career.

I would absolutely forget to function if they were on my tiny, baby-like hands, though.
Camo is a vision to behold in person and over the internet.
(The first time her mom saw it, she cried.)
She’d add “super glam” to that list.
Honestly, no one in theKorean music industryis doing it like her.
“I always do super glam.
It’s not even soft.
This is my default.”
“And I’m fine with that,” she adds.
Butnope Camo is just the opposite.
She has a phenomenally nonjudgmental nature and gives a compliment whenever possible.
And I’m not the only one with this curiosity about her relationship with beauty.
Her manager tells me a lot of Camo’s fans have been asking about her beauty routine.
Well, your wish is my command.
Just minutes after we meet, she dives into her personal beauty history unprompted.
Back in the day, Camo’s parents wouldn’t let her wear makeup out of the house.
“Sometimes, I have makeup artists on shoots,” Camo says.
“It gets so messy at the end.”
From there, Camo bakes with her go-toHuda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powderbefore contouring her nose and jawline.
“But I don’t connect that.”
Sometimes, Camo puts on blush and highlighter next.
Other times, they’re the last step.
The same goes for defining her brows.
Then, she goes onto her eyeliner.
Then, she paints on her wings with theKissme Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner, aJ-beauty favorite.
The next step in Camo’s makeup ritual is mascara and matte liquid lipstick.
“I’ve been experimenting with finding the best lash for me,” she says.
Interestingly enough, fake lashes are just starting to becomepopular in Korea, Camo points out.
“But most of them are very, very natural.”
Nothing about it is supposed to be perceived asau natural which tends to be the usual K-beauty makeup aesthetic.
“It’s starting to change, but people used to not fuck with my makeupat all.”
How does she handle that criticism and find the confidence to keep doing her makeup so glamorously?
Well, nothing can stop Camo from having a good time.
“So, it’s whatever.
I’m happy, and I really like my makeup.”
Camo goes on to explain how transformative makeup can be if you let yourself play around.
“It’s so fun for me,” she says.
“I don’t really have a skin-care routine,” she says.
It’s just a bit dry, so she puts on lotion and calls it a day.
But does that mean Camo supplements the minimalismwith facialsandlaser treatments?
She would rather stick to thosedouble cleansingand moisturizer.
Camo also tends to only wear makeup on specific occasions.
“When I’m with my friends, I mostly don’t wear makeup,” Camo shares.
In those makeup-free moments, Camo says she feels most attuned with herself.
However, it wasn’t always like that.
That’s unhealthy."
Around age 20, Camo came to realize that judgment of her looks says more howtheircharacter than hers.
They are not the kind of people she wants to interact with, so she simply doesn’t.
