The Sweat Tour may be over, but Troye Sivan is still giving us something toTalk talkabout.

Now that Im feeling so liberated in my personal life, its nice to be free to explore it.
That’s really the only thing it’s possible for you to do.
It took Sivan a while to become comfortable using makeup as a tool of creative expression in his work.
That was a very formative experience for me and just a really liberating day.
In October 2023, Sivan dressed in full drag for hisOne of Your Girls music video.
His fans ate it up, but the extensive glam process took its toll.
It took about three and a half hours [to get ready], he says.
It was a long time.
I remember feeling like I had been embalmed.
The relief of undoing the corset at the end of the day was really, really nice.
Those were probably some of my earliest memories of advertising, just seeing my mom in campaigns.
Today, he has another source of beauty inspo: Charli XCX.
She and her glam team are so incredible, he says.
Obviously I saw them every day, and it was never the same look twice.
Backstage on the Sweat Tour, the pair bonded plenty.
It became part of the pre-show ritual for us to just get into the zone together.
Scent has long been a big part of Sivans world.
(Sivan was raised in an Orthodox Jewish home andhas saidthat his great-grandmother spoke the language.).
I was like, Oh, wow, this is on another level.
Thats why Tsu Lange Yor is one of the most important and fulfilling things that I do.
Beyond fragrance, Sivan sticks to a few core beauty products.
As far as makeup goes, it’s definitely the Rabanne Fresh Touch Foundation, he says.
Hes also developed a newfound appreciation for hair-care staples.
I think an underrated hair situation is your shampoo and conditioner, he says.
It really starts you off well for a good hair day, too.
Its all self-expression, so its just like, well, what am I trying to say?
It’s less about the aesthetic of it and more about how it makes me feel.
As he continues to proudly express his identity through makeup, Sivan is certainly feeling himself.
I just know that I love to explore and play, he says.
And I think that everyone should feel empowered to do that.
