Allure:According to you, what is The Boyz' Most Iconic Look?
Younghoon:For me, it’s “Sword of Victory” duringRoad to Kingdom.
The clothes, concept, and props like the sword were just so cool.

I think it fit really well with The Boyz.

At that time, I barely had any hair.

Q:It was something that you’re free to only feel and pull off during your debut.
It was a hard time for me.
Hyunjae:For me, it’s “Right Here” and the face T-shirts.

Sangyeon:To wear your own face on your T-shirt…it’s unacceptable.
Kevin:For me, it’s this year’s Halloween.
All the members were so unique and the styling was creative.

Allure:What is a concept that originally fell outside of your comfort zone?
Kevin:For me, it was showing skin in “Thrill Ride.”

Q:I think we felt the same way as Kevin.

Juyeon:For me, it’s “Giddy Up.”
I recently came to like it.
Sunwoo:Did you just accept your fate?Juyeon:I’ve come to accept it recently.

Younghoon:Because it’s something we could only do it back then?
Juyeon:It was really hard for us to portray.
But when I look back at it now, it was cute and fun.

Juyeon:There was also “Bloom Bloom.”
It was then that we started to have darker eye makeup.
Before then we barely had anyeye makeupon but that’s when we started to do more dramatic makeup.

Why did you resonate with it?

Haknyeon:During “Thrill Ride,” I had an aurora color, but I regret it.
All my hairbroke off.
If you look now, it’s like new grass growing in.
Younghoon:I really liked my gray hair during “Reveal.”

Hyunjae:I really likedmy permduring “Giddy Up.”
It was like an alpaca.
I really liked it but wish it had been a bit curlier like real alpaca hair.
New:For me, it’s “Breaking Dawn.”
It was aneon color.
Haknyeon:What if you had to do it again?
New:Never again.
Allure:If you had to choose one comeback style to wear forever, what would it be?
Sangyeon:“No Air” was the most comfortable.
Juyeon:“Thrill Ride” because the clothes were very street style-like, so they were really comfortable.
Allure:What is a concept style you haven’t tackled yet, but would like to try?
Something that’s scary.
You know, like a wolf-like concept.
Not ghosts or anything, but something animal-like.

Kevin:As a personal goal, I want to attend theMet Galaone day with a ridiculously iconic fit.
Allure:Where does your latest comeback with “Maverick” fall within your careers thus far?
Sunwoo:Wasn’t the “Maverick” concept easier to pull off?
I think conceptually it was easier to express.
Juyeon:It was simpler when it came to the look of it.
There weren’t that many accessories, like concepts from the past.
If there was anything that was hard, maybe the bulletproof vests?
Eric:The “Maverick” necklaces?
Juyeon:This time around, it was really comfortable.
Eric:If anything was hard, it was the choreography.
Q:“Thrill Ride” was definitely more comfortable.
Allure:What look do fans most strongly associate with The Boyz?
Juyeon:Looks-wise, I think fans really liked the look of “Danger.”
Out ofoursongs, “Reveal.”
Eric:I think it was the first time we wore leather pants.
For me, it’s “Reveal.”
New:On the opposite side of things, I think it’s “Bloom Bloom.”
It conveyed a new side of us that would be hard to portray right now.
Allure:What’s one piece of beauty advice you’d give to your younger self?
Younghoon:I want to tell my younger self to just keep doing you.
Because I’m really satisfied with myself even now, so everything will be okay.
Eric: Don’t fall asleep while you’re getting yourhair cut.
Hyunjae:Be diligent instretching.
My body keeps getting really stiff.
Allure:Outside of your professional life, what does beauty mean to you?
Jacob:In terms of clothing, each member has their own distinct style.
I’m open-minded so I’m open to trying different things.
Allure:What’s the best skin-care tip you’ve picked up over the years?
Juyeon:Wash offyour makeup really well.
I think this is really important.
