I’ve been fat my entire life.
Growing up, I struggled with shame over my body size, but it was always behind closed doors.
Like many of us, I dealt with unwanted looks, bullies, and clothing that never fit right.

Some are good, some are bad.
Airline seats are another prime example.
All this to say that fat people are constantly facing obstacles that our straight-sized peers just don’t.

I, for example, started building my currentInstagram accountin 2019.
It also includes some photos of female nipples.
None of this applies to Sheros posts that were removed.

Even if most people would immediately be able to flag this as a scam, it sucks.

Many of us are starting to finally set some strict boundaries to avoid getting taken advantage of by brands.
“I’ve changed the way I work with brands over the last two years,” confirms Stanley.
The commonality among us all is our mission to create fat representation on social media.
