In what moment did we buy into this idea?"
That was when Corona realized, “I don’t want any retouching.
That would be like lying to myself.
I went through a very traumatic experience.
I had 10 surgeries.
The scars make me feel so proud of how far I have come.
They’re a reminder I’m still here.
I made it through.”
But I’m learning not to let it define me."
When Anazco got into fashion, “I loved the fantasy but it’s just fantasy.
We need to be more representative ofskin textureand normalizing it.

“I’m joking but I didn’t see this coming.
“With aging you havesun spots,age spots, liver spots,” says Golding.
“I see that person in the picture and I know it’s me.
It sort of helps me on my journey of accepting whatever comes next.
We can’t stop time.
We would like to.
I would like to.
So I’m going to just have a go at relax with it [and] accept it.
It’s part of who you are.
And I just don’t want to remove that.”
