That started to change when a friend took Schneider aside after a morning spin class.

“And I was like, ‘Oh really?’

And at that point, my makeup use dropped off dramatically.

Its something I miss and I hope to find a way to get back to.”

There is one aspect of beauty Schneider finds intimidating: hair.

She hasnt yet succeeded in growing it as long as shed like.

I can push through that and eventually get past it, but its going to take more work.

When asked if anything helped, Schneider is temporarily stumped for a bit.

She remembers part of the name of a product, but has to Google it.

I needed to not be thinking about how I looked; that wouldnt be helpful.

Schneider knows shes good at what she does.

They know such a limited part of who I am.

Theres also the pressure to keep performing.

Thats something Ive been really trying to resist in myself, really trying to fight against.

So how does she unwind?

Genevieve and I are both super into taking baths, she says.

If were on a vacation, well find bath salts as souvenirs to take home.

Schneider describes herself as a very creative person, who has experience in theater, stand-up, and podcasting.
