I spoke to several folks about their experiences to gain some real-life perspective on this sometimes-taboo topic.

Mackenzie Joy Brennan, a lawyer in Phoenix, Arizona, shared her first time having a threesome.

[I was] 21 years old, in my last semester of college, Brennan recalls.

She approached her best friend about proposing a rendezvous to a mutual buddy.

As is the case with any sexual experience, there are countless ways to have a threesome.

In her case, it left her wanting more.

Drysdale had her first threesome as a teenager.
