There aren’t many in that second group and even fewer are driven by a global superstar.

“I have bipolar [disorder] and Im not afraid to say that’s something I deal with.

Thats something that I live with,” she told us on a recent call.

Founded alongside Gomez’s makeup brand was her nonprofit, the Rare Impact Fund.

These groups provide services such as suicide prevention training and mentoring programs.

And this is just the beginning of a $100 million commitment over the next 10 years.

“When I’m talking to someone who’s struggling, the first thing I do is just listen.

That’s all I want to be heard,” she says.

“I want to be remembered as someone who cares.

I care a lot and thats what I want to do with my platform.”
