Body acnehas always been a thorn in my side.

My body acne went from severe to almost nonexistent…with a few exceptions.

An important realization came to me mid-shower during an especially annoying back breakout.

I now rarely (if ever) break out on my back and chest.

I had never thought about it that way, but it makes sense.

Rubbing irritated acne with harsh material certainly won’t help it, right?

My trusty silicone scrubber does a fantastic job at getting rid of dirt and oil without causing irritation.

Loofahs are also a state-of-the-art playground for bacteria when it comes to body breakouts.

Emmy Ketcham, cosmetic chemist and cofounder ofExperiment Beauty, agrees.

“This microbial contamination can cause or exacerbate skin conditions, such as acne or infections.”

The visual that comes to mind is sweeping my living room floor with a dirty broom.

If you’re using cruddy tools to do so, you’re simply going to spreadmoredirt.

I purchased my silicone scrubbers on March 9, 2022, and they’re still going strong.

“This means that you won’t need to repurchase as often, reducing waste.”

And in terms of maintenance?

Keeping them clean couldn’t be any simpler.

They can be washed on a weekly basis and immediately stored in your shower like a regular loofah.

And on a more practical note, these silicone scrubbers are super easy to use.

Both your wallet and skin thank you in advance.
