Can Uncombable Hair Syndrome Be Cured?
Uncombable hair syndrome cannot be cured.
That said, it has been shown to improve with age, typically starting in puberty.
Nonetheless, there is a lack of evidence to support it as a viable treatment option.

They most frequently wear it au naturel and their confidence is palpable.
“Smooth-tipped, wide-spaced combs or brushes should be used to minimize tangling,” advises Dr. Cheng.
It’s also safe to style it in braids or a ponytail, says Dr. Cheng.
But keep in mind that there’s no harm in wearing it naturally, either.
