Dobrev likes to begin by hydrating her skin with a couple of drops ofDr.

Barbara Strum’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

The last serum she applies isSunday Riley’s C.E.O.

After the face is sufficiently dewy and supple, Dobrev moves on to the lips.

“I have this amazingLaneige [mask],” she says.

“This is a sleeping mask, but honestly I wear it all day, every day.

Her favorite?Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40.

“It’s important to wear sunscreen to protect yourself from potentially gettingskin cancer.

It’s sort of like a primer as well for your makeup so your makeup stays on better.”

And she’s correct, everyone should wear the dermatologist-recommendedSPF 30 or higherevery day.

Then it’s time for the makeup.

Because both formulas are lightweight despite their full coverage, the final effect is satin-like, not cakey.

And then it’s brow time.

“It’s so funny how, in the early 2000s, having reallyskinny eyebrowswas very trendy.

I remember tweezing, and tweezing, and tweezing until I had nothing left,” Dobrev winces.
